I was billed $125 for a seven-minute phone call in which no prescriptions were given and no medical advice was given. That’s $17.85 a minute. The call was coded as something my insurance wouldn’t cover. Dr. Parrish basically told me he couldn’t help me with my issue. I assumed this call would be free. I asked for even a partial refund but was refused. It took them several days even to get back to me about this. The billing specialist, Mindy, seems to think that the $15 “courtesy discount” that they gave me was enough (The bill was originally $140.) I will be seeking out another medical provider because I am disgusted with the way I have been treated.

I have went to this office numerous times as has my family. The last few times we have struggled getting any results back. Weeks go by and we call about lab results and they make excuses why no one has called in weeks. Has happened numerous times. However my last experience was awful. When I brought up a concern I was literally laughed at and my issue was not addressed. I left feeling defeated. I have not returned since. This experience was so unprofessional. I use to recommend this office however now I definitely would recommend looking elsewhere.

Shar is the best, I have been to her many times she is so knowledgeable about different procedures and products. I always look forward to my appointments. I would recommend not only Shar but also Hillside Medical Clinic.
