I absolutely love the doctors at this office, which is what makes it so disappointing that we’ve decided not to come back and will need to find new doctors. The doctors have always been kind, caring, and wonderful to work with. Unfortunately, our experience with the billing side of the office has been completely different. It felt like every time we came in, even for a simple medication check or adjustment, I would end up receiving a bill for around $100. My regular medical copay is $25, but I later found out that because my daughter’s doctor is a student in an organized healthcare education or training program, that qualifies for a specialist co-pay., we were being charged the $50 specialist copay. I had no idea that was the case, especially since the appointments were for things I never would have considered specialist care. I understand that insurance and billing can be complicated, but I have never spent this much money on such simple, routine doctor visits. The unexpected bills became incredibly frustrating and ultimately made us feel like we needed to find another office. I really hate leaving because we truly love the doctors. They are wonderful! I just wish our experience with the billing and cost of appointments had been as positive as our experience with the medical care.
I saw Chad Parrish and he was very helpful, understanding, and the whole staff was very kind and efficient.
